Dream finally granted!*
Its what I'm feeling since last Saturday! Up until now I can't believe that this is all happening….I've even ponder of it as if this is just a dream…but I've proven myself wrong…I woke up each day telling myself that this is really for real! damn! I don't know what to expect there! And I don't even know what to do first! As of now all I'm thinking is the excitement I felt as the days lessen and it is time for me to go….
Sunday past by…and now its Monday…later it would be Tuesday…and the day before that is the departure time! I can't really sleep thinking of the "positive" possibilities that this trip would bring me….I know this is gonna be once in a lifetime….and I am going to be alone for the first time…I mean I'm gonna be away without anyone I know…that I will be in a place where everyone is a ‘mere’ being….and in which anyone doesn’t know me at all…I know that I’m going to be on my own now and taste independence…Im quite bothered of the way things will turn out for me there…but I know that I am going to fight this uneasiness I felt…I know that I am gonna be there for a reason..and i know that God has a purpose of sending me there….I really do hope that everything will just fall into place…as what I expect it to be…may this trip be jovial!
BORACAY here I come…….

Movie Review: Life is Beautiful(La Vita e Bella)
In many ways Roberto Benigni's "Life is Beautiful" is a courageous motion picture. After all, I don't believe anyone in the past has had the audacity to set a comedy against the backdrop of the very serious Ho
locaust, nor would anyone want to. By creating such a light-hearted tone for a film about one of the most cruel and heartbreaking periods in history, it would be easy to offend viewers, especially those whom have a personal connection with the Holocaust. Benigni, however, who directed the film and stars in the lead role, somehow succeeds at such a genre-bending convention (or unconvention, if you think about it), finding just the right balance between humor and drama so that the film in no way is condescending to the subject matter.
The film begins as the Jewish-Italian Guido, a happy-go-lucky fellow, arrives in a postcard-perfect Tuscan village where he stays at his uncle's home and obtains a job as a waiter at a nearby ritzy restaurant. Almost immediately, Guido runs into the beautiful, kind schoolteacher Dora when she accidentally falls from a barn. After a pleasant and rather mystifying meeting, fate seems destined to bring the pair together when he runs into her a few more times (literally, when he crashes his bike, and at the school where she works). The first hour of "Life is Beautiful" is a winning, sweet, and often funny romantic comedy, and Benigni constantly reminded me of the old comic greats Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin.
Seven years pass and Guido and Dora got married and have a young son. All is well in their lives. Guido owns a bookstore until anti-semitism slowly begins to make appearances in the village, first by having store signs put up saying, "No Jews or Dogs," and then by having their own home torn apart. Ultimately, Guido and his son are taken away to a concentration camp and are separated from Dora, who is forced to go with the female prisoners. Through the horrors of the Holocaust which are only briefly shown in a shocking and haunting image of a mountain of dead bodies, Guido keeps his spirits up and tells his son that everything is only a game, and if they are the first people to reach one one-hundred points, they will win the grand prize: a real, life-size tank to ride home on.
For its first hour, "Life is Beautiful" is a film full of magic, recalling the days of those '40s and '50s musicals. In its romantic story involving Guido and Dora, the film contains an undeniable innocence that is rarely seen in today's films, and as our protagonist, Guido is a pure charmer. In its second half, the film becomes more tricky, since it was up to Benigni to keep the picture's light tone while still being realistic about the life of a Jew in a concentration camp. No on-screen violence is depicted, although there are hints of the gas chambers that look like showers, but on the other hand, the film not once actually treats the Holocaust as a joke. Instead, the picture attempts to portray a hopeful and spirited man that unfortunately happens to be a Jew in the 1940's and therefore is sent away to what is basically a horror show. It is clearly due to Benigni's artistry in filmmaking that he is easily able to mix these two differing elements so that it is neither too goofy or too sad.

SUPERHEROES: Are they real?
The mass media today has evolved, specifically in the film industry. Many genres of movies have been flourishing in the metro. One of which is the theme which involves superheroes as the leading character—wherein a good-natured person fights over a fierce villain.
When we were in our childhood years, we are extremely fund of superheroes. We do not want to miss any single day without watching them on TV. We even but flamboyant shirts in which our favorite superhero is proudly imprinted. I remember one time, way back in my immature days, when new superheroes arise, I would often plead to my mom toys in the same effigy and figure of my new desire superhero. It is over-whelming to picture-out my countenance while we were in the mall buying the toy. It was really one of the happiest childhood mementos!
Superheroes by then were thought to be real people. We reckon that they do exist. We often view them as the one fighting against the sinister enemies with their fascinating costumes striding with them. We often try to mimic their “mantras” and their kinesthetic. We believe that our superhero is the best and that no one can surpass their greatness and prowess.
But now, things have changed. We are into our ripening stage and our standpoint of superheroes did change. We do not view them as the ones before. We now assent that superheroes in costumes do not exist and that they are all products of fraud. But somehow I have realized that they are true-to-life superheroes in our life that had become one of our inspiration and even aspiration. In my case, my endearing MOM is my ULTIMATE SUPERHERO! Though she does not possess the physical prowess of the Hulk or the invisibility of the Invisible Woman in Fantastic 4, she is more than them. Her placid arms have been there to carry me up when I cannot reach. Her invisible love has always been one of the sources of my total being. My MOM is just the best (I can say now)! No other superhero can empower all her love and protection. She is one in a million, one of a kind! And that is MY MOM!

T’nalak Fest Mementos
I was homebound—making my way downtown, my paces fast, and faces past when suddenly a cacophony and undulation of explosions went bursting up in the enigmatic and somber firmament. The surge of overhauling fireworks over cloaked the entire heavens. The now veneer sky is thwarted by the hubbub and cheers of the mob. Volatile of colors are seen up above—from red to green, green to blue, purple to red. My eyes were in bloodshot! Plenty of gruffing voices and ear-breaking shouting can be heard around me. And I cannot blame them. The displays of the flamboyant fireworks were extremely fascinating and amusing. And it is hard for me not to notice the orifice of people all in awe and amazement.
Ooops…Something is going on with my Parka’s pocket. It was my phone ringing and vibrating! When I opened it, I read a text from a friend inviting me to watch the final night of the T’nalak extravaganza. Tired and weary from school, I first asserted, vetoed, made some unbelievable excuses, assay to shun, and was blattering. Until I felt remorse and eventually given up and said “yes.” After all, I do not want to rue such opportunity of enjoyment.
Alunan Avenue was packed by happy South Cotabatenos. Many were in their lavish outfits but some were just weirdoes and lack sense of glamorosity and fashion. But other than that, the streets were thawed from the flocks of people fidgeting, reeling, and fleeting around. The logorrheas of people were extremely exasperating and harrying. I felt gleeful though, because being with my friends is quite smugging and we convoluted ourselves very well.
But our night did not just end there; the effulgence of the chrooners performing on the stage is worth listening and staying. There were bands from Davao and Manila but the bands from here made out the most catch! Everytime they played our favorite songs, we cannot help but sing along, and that was hell rousing!

My What If's in Life
Then, I would bring tranquility, equilibrium and fairness althroughout the world...
What if I am a billionaire?
Then, I would create an establishment that fairly reeks of prestige, power anf affluence...
What if I am a straight guy?
Maybe I have tons of girlfriends already, and maybe(just maybe) I am a certified father
already...hahahaha...what a thinking!
What if education does not exist?
Will I be learned just like what I am today? Will I be able to explore things and be successful?
What if I die now?
Will there be people mourning and crying for my lost? Will my true worth be revealed?
Will there be people ho would criticize God for He has stolen me from them?
What if the Mona Lisa smile is not as famous as it is right now?
Will Leonardo da Vinci's aestheticity be discovered? Will he still be popular? Will we still see his
name written in books?
What if Adam and Eve did not eat the forbidded apple?
Will Jesus Christ be born? Will we still need salvation?
What if everything around is homogenous?
Will there be a promiscuity of things in this world? Would that mean that only one thing exist in
every kind of being?
and What if I am a cat?
Will I chase the dog instead of the rat? Will I run for the cheese instead of the fresh fish?
